Our values define the foundation upon which our lifestyles are built. To the point, our values are based upon what we believe and how we live them out in our daily lives. Moreover, these core values are fashioned to birth a safe habitat where believers can try to walk in God’s kingdom with no fear of rejection if they fail, where each will experience God’s grace and godly discipleship, and where they can discern God’s voice and His heart so that each will partner with His Spirit to see His “kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.” Pastor Terry
1. We Pursue His Presence; thereby, we desire to encounter our culture with His goodness and power both in the church and in our society (Matthew 28:16-20).
2. Prayer is a source of confidence in our lives (1 John 5:14-15).
3. God is for us; thereby, issues of life become opportunity to work for our good (Romans 8:28-29).
4. Worship is (both corporate and personal) essential to our growth as believers (John 4:23-24).
5. Being filled with Joy is a secret of our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
6. Teaching, training, and equipping God’s people is central to fulfilling the Great Commission (Ephesians 4:11-12; Matthew 28: 16-20).
7. We capture every thought that does not burn with faith, hope, and love (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).
8. We maintain a good confession in both tough times and good times. Life and death is in the words we speak over ourselves and others. Even if we disagree with others, we endeavor to culture respect and honor in all our relationships (1Timothy 6:11-13; Proverbs 18:21).
9. We motivate the believer through God’s word, His Grace, His Mercy, and by the Power of God; rather than by condemnation and guilt (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 14-16).
10. We place a high value on sharing our testimony with others. It is a unique way of bragging on Jesus’ love and goodness in saving our souls (John 3:16).
11. Thanksgiving is a portal to receive God’s grace and experience the promises of God (Psalms 100; Philippians 4:6).
12. In order to grow spiritually, we must plan for our personal and ministry objectives. Plan your work; work your plan!!! (1Timothy 4:12-16).
13. Repentance involves turning from our sin and turning to God’s promises and our destinies in God’s Kingdom (Mark 1:14-15; Romans 3:23).
14. Failure is a learning experience and not our identity. We seek to walk in higher levels in God’s Kingdom (Hosea 6:1-3).
15. Family relationships and especially our marriages take priority over ministering to others (Ephesians 5:22-33).
16. Integrity is a must for all believers and is a must for effective ministry (Psalms 15:1-5).
17. Love is to embody all that we do, or else it’s worthless (1 Corinthians 13).
18. Our authority as believers comes from Jesus Christ. We are to continue his work of sharing the Gospel and setting people free from demonic oppression, sickness, and lack (1 John 4:17).
19. Servanthood is the measure of greatness in our lives. A servant’s heart reflect the Kingdom of God (Matthew 23:11-12).
20. We seek to be proactive in demonstrating God’s Kingdom and in making disciples; hence we don’t wait for things to happen but seek out opportunities to shine the love of Christ in the darkness of our society (Matthew 11:12).
